当社は第2次オイルショック後、急速に高まってきた脱石油気運のなかで、1981年（昭和56年）6月、海外一般炭の港湾における中継備蓄機能を整備するために設立いたしました。
日本の中央部に位置する三重県の四日市港に拠点を置き、大型船の受け入れも可能な、ハブ機能を有する石炭中継基地です。電力、セメント、化学、繊維、製紙など、様々な方面から高い評価をいただいています。
また、環境保護の見地から、防塵用の散水設備とフェンス、排水処理設備なども完備し、クリーンな備蓄基地として運営を行っておりますので、安心してご利用いただけます。

Right after the second oil crisis in 1979, as part of efforts to reduce reliance on petroleum, our company planned and constructed a coal storage and transit facility for coal imported from overseas. The facility was completed in June 1981.
Located in the Port of Yokkaichi in Mie Prefecture, in central Japan, the facility serves as a coal transshipment base with hub functions capable of accommodating large vessels. It has earned high recognition from a wide range of industries, including electric power, cement, chemical, textile, and paper manufacturing.
From the standpoint of environmental protection, our storage yard is equipped with dust-suppression sprinklers, fencing, and wastewater-treatment facilities, enabling us to operate as a clean coal storage and transit facility that you can use with confidence.
